Embark on a 7-day journey through Huehuetenango, starting with breathtaking views at Mirador Juan Diéguez Olaverri and visit to llamas and alpacas. Discover tranquil Laguna Magdalena and the turquoise waters of Laguna Brava, including a scenic boat ride to hidden cenotes. Explore the impressive Hoyo del Cimarrón and swim in the crystal-clear Cenotes de Candelaria. Conclude visiting a Coffee Farm before returning to Antigua Guatemala.

Day 1: Arrival and Mirador Juan Diéguez Olaverri

Morning: Arrive in Huehuetenango and visit Mirador Juan Diéguez Olaverri to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding valleys and volcanoes, including Tacaná, Tajumulco, and Santa María.

Day 2: Laguna Magdalena

Morning: Journey to the tranquil Laguna Magdalena, known for its stunning turquoise waters and serene surroundings. Enjoy a hike through the forest leading to the lagoon, where you can relax by the water and take in the peaceful scenery.

​Day 3: Hacienda Nueva Escocia

Morning: Travel to Hacienda Nueva Escocia.

  • Afternoon: Swim in the Private Cenote and Enjoy the activities in the farm of the Hacienda.  (Horseback riding, Sheep and Cow Farm)

​Day 4: Laguna Brava

Morning: Travel to the remote Laguna Brava. The scenic drive is an adventure in itself. Upon arrival, admire the striking turquoise waters surrounded by mountains.Lunch: Enjoy a picnic by the lagoon, taking in the breathtaking views.

Afternoon: Take a 2-hour boat ride to discover the hidden cenotes around the lagoon. These deep, crystal-clear water pools provide a unique and magical experience for travelers.

Day 5: Hoyo del Cimarrón

Morning: Visit the impressive Hoyo del Cimarrón, a massive natural sinkhole surrounded by forest. Hike to the edge for breathtaking views of this natural wonder.

Day 6: Cenotes de Candelaria

Morning: Visit the captivating Cenotes de Candelaria, an underground cave system filled with crystal-clear water. Explore the cenotes and experience the quiet beauty of this remote area.

Afternoon: Spend the afternoon relaxing by the cenotes or taking a refreshing dip in the pools before heading back.

Day 7: Hacienda del Cafe

At Hacienda del Café in Huehuetenango, you can enjoy a comprehensive coffee experience. The activities typically include guided coffee tours that take you through the coffee-making process from bean to cup, visiting coffee plantations, learning about sustainable farming practices, and tasting freshly brewed local coffee. Additionally, the hacienda offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, making it a relaxing spot for nature lovers to enjoy a peaceful day in the countryside.

Return to Antigua 

Afternoon: After visiting la Hacienda del cafe and do activities such as Land Cruiser Coffee tour and Paddle Board we will return to La Antigua Guatemala
